Liberet Regnum Dei

Liberet Regnum Dei

The Kingdom of God is of Spirit, reigns true throughout the earth, the entirety of the cosmos and pervades all space, matter and time. But though present in all things and in all ages, the Kingdom of God is not present in it’s greatest fulness as was in the beginning. For the Kingdom of God, which is of Spirit was injured as the first of men preferred the carnality of flesh over the divinity of that Spirit which is God. But though injured, the Kingdom of God, being of timeless Spirit remains eternal and that which is of Spirit and is eternal cannot be defeated by anything material or mortal.

Even now, in it’s injured state the kingdom grows, returning to it's original fullness as men slowly come to know and embrace the wisdom God over the vane leadings of mortal flesh. For the Kingdom of God is not just of the cosmos but is also mingled internally with the flesh, blood and Spirit of men, patient for a time as the  wisdom of Spirit still wrestles with the vanity of flesh.

For the internal Kingdom of God yet waits it’s full birth from the confinement of flesh, blood and Spirit to the active, outward practice of God’s greater wisdom, to the ways of grace, charity and goodwill amidst all men. In this way shall the Kingdom of God be externalized through men, as the internal knowledge of God’s ways transform the external actions of our species. And by the will of God shall this certainly occur, as the divine wisdoms of grace, charity, and love slowly overcome the misleadings of the flesh. For God has planted these wisdoms within our own Spirit to battle against the temptations of our mortal flesh, so that Spirit may be glorified over flesh.

In this way, as the Spirit triumphs over the flesh is the Kingdom of God released from within, growing from it’s internal place of flesh, blood and Spirit to the lively and external realization of thought, word and deed. For the ultimate fullness of God’s Kingdom on earth comes not just from without but even more so from within as it becomes externalized from  the flesh of men into the cosmos at large. This is the internal Kingdom, redemptive as it is mingled with the sentient thought of our fallen species, active as it lifts men above their most brutish tendencies, and evolutionary, as it slowly transforms the societies of men to the will of God. For the thoughts of men are affected by the indwelling Spirit of God. Their words to one another begin to reflect their changing thought, and their resultant deeds transform to acts of grace, charity, and love.

This is the liberation of the indwelling Kingdom of God by the power of his living Spirit, internal and transformative to all men. It is the redemption not only of all men but of the fallen world and the universe at large. For with the transformation of men does the Kingdom become more active and alive through their deeds and dealings with one another. The Kingdom within becomes liberated by God and externalized through men in this way, joining with the cosmos at large to redeem the fallen creation. For it was through the actions of men that creation became fallen. And by the will of God it shall also be through men, guided by the power of God’s indwelling presence, that the universe be redeemed.
